Or should we say "Welcome Back!" ?. Yes... the rumors of
the demise of this website have been greatly exaggerated, and so it
is with a sense of humor that we've retained a few of the more saucy
predictions that were posted to the boards near the end of Toad's reign.
The Atari ST and Jaguar message boards
are still here and largely in tact, minus some necessary editing, and
since we're big Lynx fans, we've added an extra forum to accommodate
it. In every way, we
plan to continue supporting the large community of Atari enthusiasts
that this site has brought together under it's previous owner.
If possible, as diehard computer and gaming enthusiasts ourselves, we'd
also like to see it grow. In that spirit, Atari Central is now
officially opening it's doors to current Atari website owners and would-be
Atari content providers to pull up a page or two and take up residence
here at Atari Central! You can author or co-author a whole new
section or just a page, or simply submit content and get a link back
to your main site. Let your imagination set the limits.
As an Atari Central community member, you get an Ataricentral.Com web
address for your pages, free web space, and no design worries!
There is absolutley no charge in coming on board. Find out more
on our contact page. Finally, you may
be wondering, "Who are these guys?". We are Multimedia Empire,
Inc., but don't let the name throw you. We're mainly a small
group of creative guys (and gals) with a passion for gaming and an interest
in expressing it on the web and elsewhere. For a peek at some
of our current projects, and to learn a little more about our company,
visit the obligatory about us page.
That's it for now. Thanks for coming back! You're here because We all share that one vital common denominator: love for old school Atari gaming. Atari may be old school but it's still got alot of following. In fact most of our recent traffic have been coming from online gaming site poker stars where I've heard have poker chatrooms teeming with Atari enthusiasts. If we can find Atari fans in such a niche, imagine the others left untapped in other places. | ||||
